 Our pricing structure is based on your quilt's dimensions and the pattern's complexity. We charge per square inch. To calculate the square inch measurement of your quilt top, simply multiply the width x length. This will give you the total square inches. Then, multiply the total square inches by the specific quilting style you choose to determine the price. 

 Example: A quilt that measures 60 X 72 = 4320 square inches X .02 (2 cents per square inch) = $86.40.

We charge by the square inch in 3 different categories.

 1. Edge to Edge  

 2. Semi-Custom  

 3. Custom.

 (Custom quilting charges are on a case-by-case basis.)
 

 1. Simple Edge to Edge over your entire quilt – This is one simple pattern over your entire quilt with one thread color. The cost is 0.02-0.025 cents per square inch.

 2. Semi-Custom – Two different patterns; edge to edge, inside of the borders. Borders quilted with a different pattern.  (0.03-0.035)

 3. Custom – (currently not available) 

Sorry, but we do NOT offer custom quilting. We can, however, suggest an awesome Custom Quilter that is very reasonably priced. We will gladly give you her card.

(There is a minimum charge of $50.)

*The above prices do not include batting and thread charges. Batting charges depend on the type and size of batting. Thread charges are $1.00 per bobbin used. 

 Many individuals provide their own backing, but in case you don't have any, we have a variety of backings available. Our 108" wide backing fabric ensures a seamless back at a more affordable price. The cost of the backing will vary depending on the chosen type and yardage.

Your backing needs to be 8 inches wider and 8 inches longer than your quilt top to provide adequate coverage. Please note that there may be an extra fee for seaming the back and any necessary ironing or other preparations required before quilting. 

Piecing backing fabric - $10.00 per seam.

 Quality batting is available and can be purchased from us. We offer 100% cotton, 70/30- 70(cotton, 30(polyester), bamboo, polyester, and wool. We sell Queen (93" wide) and King (120" wide) size battings.

We often use either 100% cotton or 70/30 cotton/poly blend. Batting prices are located below. (Prices are subject to change.)

WE PREFER YOU PURCHASE BATTING FROM US.

  If we are binding your quilt, please include enough 2 1/2" wide strips to go around the quilt's perimeter plus 10".

We also provide Binding services at 3 different levels.
  1. You provide already prepared binding. We then machine sew the binding on the front with mitered corners for 10 cents per linear inch.
 

 2. You provide the binding fabric; we make the binding machine-sew on the front with mitered corners for 15 cents per linear inch. This leaves you to do the hand hemming.
 

 3.  We will create the binding using the fabric you provide. Our service includes machine-sewing the binding onto the front with mitered corners and hand-sewing it onto the back. The cost is 25 cents per linear inch.

 To ensure a quality finished product and minimize your cost, please follow these basic guidelines:

·         Your top must be clean and pressed well, making sure points and threads are clipped and removed, or they may show through later; please remove pins or basting threads.

·         Make sure your backing fabric isn't wrinkled beyond help. If we have to spend more than 30 minutes pressing for a customer, we start charging $20 an hour for the extra attention your quilt needs. 

·         Measure and press backing fabric —it should measure 8 inches larger than your top.    

·         If you have no border or a heavily pieced border, please baste around the edges of your quilt. This ensures that no seams pop or the quilt stretches while we are handling the quilt top.

·          

Thread-

There are many thread colors to choose from. We will consult with you on what will compliment your quilt top. There is a nominal fee for thread charge, $1.00 per bobbin. 

 (Typical thread charges for a queen-sized quilt are approximately $4.00 - $6.00 for a simple overall Edge to Edge pattern.)

Quilt Trimming –

We trim our customer's quilts FREE of charge– we think of it as a customer delight service! 

Shipping information –

We can ship via UPS or USPS ground with insurance. Shipping costs can vary depending on location TBD.

Payment –

Payment needs to be completed when your quilt is picked up. We do appreciate cash or check.
